For those of us without a jointer, getting one good edge on rough lumber can be accomplished fairly easily on your table saw.
This might be my new favorite thing for a while. I was going to just stain this project then paint over it with milk paint and have some of the dark show through after sanding, but was pleasantly surprised with how the stain itself turned out.
I like drawing things by hand, there are times I can't seem to think through what I am doing without a pencil in my hand.
