Somehow I didn’t count right when ordering dowels for the Climbing Wall and ended up with seven extra. As I was researching how to make the Swedish Ladder portion for B I kept running across these mini triangle climbing ladders for toddlers. It looked easy enough so I made one for my twin nieces that just turned two.
I think they like it!! of course after building it and watching the girls climb on it I have a couple of ideas on what I would do differently. Overall it was a success!
The girls ween’t too sure about the rope side of the ladder, but will probably get braver soon enough. it didn’t take the brave one long to start showing how she could stand there with no hands.
Right before we left I added a second set of holes so the ladder could be secured in the folded position…and so you didn’t lose the bolts ;0)
Stay tuned for design tweaks and more options ;0)
